You'll need a battery charger, and it should be unplugged and switched off. There are red and black clamps on the charger that you must connect to the positive and negative terminals respectively. You can then plug in the charger and switch it to “on.”

This usually takes a few hours, but you need to check the manual for your charger to be sure. Some chargers give you an indication when they are finished but others will switch off automatically. Once the process is finished, you should first turn the charger off, then unplug it. Then, remove first the black and then the red clamp.
